Dr. Robert Corbett is the owner of Dairy Production Medicine Practice centered in Spring City, Utah. Currently his practice has approximately 200,000 animals in the United States, Mexico, Central America, South America and China on a Production Medicine program. This Production Medicine Practice includes calf management, heifer replacement programs, mastitis prevention and control, milking equipment evaluation, computer analysis of dairy records, reproductive efficiency, dairy management and nutrition. His major areas of interest are Dairy Replacement Heifer Programs, with emphasis on management and nutrition to maximize the normal genetic potential for growth, health and production of dairy heifers, and transition management and nutrition. A major focus in both areas is nutrition and management programs that are designed to minimize immunosuppression and maximize the health of the immune system, thus decreasing the incidence of infectious disease. Currently consulting in North America, Mexico, Central and South America, Australia, China, and Europe, in various types of environments, including pasture-based dairy operations as well as total confinement systems.
